I have been working on Samantha's Birthday Party stuff and got a little crazy last night making things. I went walmart in search of god knows what. They didn't have peace sign ribbon so I found this great fabric.
I cut strips to make ties for the basket gifts and had some left over so I made a pillow with this Martha Stewart glue that I scored in the clearance basket for $2.50. I don't typically buy MS products because of them being so overpriced, but how could I pass up glue for $2.50? So anyway I don't sew, which could be in part because I don't own a sewing machine. So I used an old pillow, cut around the pillow shoved it inside and glued her up! I think it came out pretty cute. Hope it holds up!

ReplyDeleteI noticed at our Walmart today all the Martha Stewart stuff was being clearanced out. Maybe they aren't going to carry her brand anymore. The only time I ever buy any of her stuff is when it is on sale.
